Location and Directions

We are located on the third floor of 154-05 Northern Boulevard, between 154th and 155th Streets, in Flushing, New York. Flushing is in the New York City Borough of Queens, which is on the western part of Long Island.

Public Transportation

The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) both provide comprehensive information online.

Subway

The Number 7 Train, which runs between Times Square in Manhattan and Flushing Main Street, is the closest subway line to the Dojo. The MTA's website provides general information and schedules for the Number 7. Take the Number 7 train to Flushing Main Street and then transfer to the Q13 or Q28 bus.

Bus

The Q13 and the Q28 can be found on the corner of 39th Ave. between Main Street and Union St. The Q13 and Q28 stop on Northern Blvd. and 154th right across from the Dojo (in front of a gas station). The MTA has a map on their site.

Long Island Railroad (LIRR)

The LIRR's Port Washington branch runs between Penn Station in Manhattan and Port Washington in Nassau County. The LIRR provides Port Washington branch timestables online. The following stations on the Port Washington line are closest to the Dojo:

Murray Hill is the closest station to the Dojo. The station is below ground level and is located between 41st Avenue and 149th Place, and Barton Avenue and 150th Street in Flushing. Not all trains stop at Murray Hill, so check the schedule carefuly. In addition, since most trains are longer than the platform at Murray Hill, only one end of the train will platform. It is wise to check with the conductor before you arrive at Murray Hill if you are not sure that the car you are in will platform.

To walk to the Dojo from Murray Hill station, head north on 150th Street to Northern Boulevard. You should cross Roosevelt Avenue on the way. When you arrive at Northern Boulevard, cross it and head east to 154th Street. The Dojo is between 154th and 155th streets on Northern Boulevard.

From Eastern Long Island

Take Long Island Expressway West (I495W) or the Grand Central Parkway West. Transfer to the Clearview Expressway North (Throgs Neck). Get off on the Northern Blvd. exit. Turn left onto Northern Blvd and go straight until 155th Street. Dojo is located between 155th and 154th on Northern Blvd. Dojo is on the the 3rd floor.

From Manhattan
Take Long Island Expressway East (I495E). Transfer to the Van Wyck Expressway. Follow directions below from Kennedy Airport.
From Triboro Bridge

Take Grand Central Parkway to Northern Blvd (25A, Eastbound), right exit. Do not take the Westbound exit on the left. You should be on Northern Blvd. Go straight on Northern Blvd until 154th Street. Dojo is located between 155th and 154th on Northern Blvd. Dojo is on the the 3rd floor.

From Kennedy Airport
Take Van Wyck Expressway North (I678N) to exit 13 Astoria/Northern Blvd. Ramp will fork, take the left fork (East). You should be on Northern Blvd. Go straight on Northern Blvd until 154th Street. Dojo is located between 155th and 154th on Northern Blvd. Dojo is on the the 3rd floor.
From Whitestone Bridge
Take Van Wyck Expressway South (I678S) to Linden Place. Turn left onto Linden Place. Go straight until 35th Avenue. Make a left onto 35th Avenue. Go straight on 35th Avenue until 155th Street. Turn right onto 155th. Go one block, turn right onto Northern Blvd. Dojo is between 155th and 154th Street on Northern Blvd. Dojo is on the 3rd floor.
